Bobby Heerasing

Chief Executive Officer

Chief Underwriting Officer

Bobby is a highly experienced insurance executive with over 30 years in the industry, having held leadership roles at RSA, BP Amoco, Catlin, XL Catlin, ACR and SiriusPoint. He has worked across major international markets including the UK, USA, Singapore and Australia.

After spending 17 years with Catlin and XL Catlin between 1999 and 2016, Bobby joined ACR as CEO in 2017. He later served as Head of International Distribution at SiriusPoint and Active Underwriter for Syndicate 1945 from October 2021 to March 2023.

Bobby has a strong track record of building high-performing teams, delivering profitable growth, and leading successful turnarounds of underperforming portfolios and businesses. More recently, he has broadened his focus to include M&A, fundraising, and investment in start-ups and MGAs. This experience led naturally to his entrepreneurial venture, founding Prism MGA in December 2025.

He holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of London, a Master's in Finance from Brunel University, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Jason Smith

Chief Operations Officer

Jason is a highly experienced insurance and reinsurance executive with over 30 years in the industry, having held underwriting and leadership roles at Transatlantic Reinsurance, Catlin, XL Catlin and, most recently, as Chief Executive of Leadenhall Asia. He has worked across major international markets including the London Market, Hong Kong, China and Singapore.

Jason began his career at Transatlantic Re, spending over a decade underwriting facultative property, onshore energy and treaty reinsurance across the London and Asia Pacific markets. After relocating to Asia in 2002, he held senior leadership roles including Managing Director of Catlin Hong Kong and Head of Underwriting for Greater China at XL Catlin, where he sat on the Greater China management committee and led the post-merger integration of the two underwriting teams.

As Managing Director in Hong Kong, Jason grew Catlin's local product offering from four to over 20 lines of business and delivered fivefold growth in profitable premium income. In 2019 he established Leadenhall Asia, a digital-first Lloyd's Coverholder and MGA formed as a joint venture with the Leadenhall Group, alongside Efinity Asia, an insurtech consultancy delivering platform design, build and intelligent automation for carriers. This blend of underwriting discipline and technology focus led naturally to co-founding Prism MGA in December 2025.

He holds an MBA from Ivey Business School (Western University), is a Chartered Insurer and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII).

Sergei Korol

Chief Financial Officer

Having entered insurance in 1998 at AIG, Sergei has held several impactful operational and finance positions, including a leading role in managing ALICO, a key AIG subsidiary, through the global financial crisis and its divestment to MetLife. He subsequently served as Chubb (then ACE) first Regional CFO of APAC, and later Group CFOO of ACR, leading a major financial and operational transformation and shareholder exit.

In addition to his insurance experience, Sergei served as Managing Director, Head of Finance of Gfin, the fintech arm of Asian superapp Grab, where he created infrastructure for the company’s first financial segment post IPO.

Sergei holds a Master's of Arts degree from John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and Executive MBA from INSEAD and is a CFA Charter holder.
