Jan von Kamp
Head of Energy, Power & Renewables
Jan has over 20 years of experience in the Energy and Power sectors, across both insurance and reinsurance. He joins Prism from Swiss Re Asia Ltd, where he served as Head – Property Facultative Southeast Asia and India. ​ He previously held the position of Head, Energy, Facultative & Specialty at Asia Capital Re and senior energy underwriting roles with HDI Global in  Europe and Singapore. Jan also has practical experience of the Oil & Gas industry having spent time working across Upstream and Downstream operations for large multinational organisations before transitioning to a career in insurance. ​ Jan holds a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering. With his track record in the oil & gas and chemical industries, Jan brings deep understanding of the insureds risks and associated risk transfer requirements
